Competition and evaluation procedure
There are 50 points to be achieved.
Depending on the number of stories submitted, there are 5-20 jury members from different professional fields and with different genre preferences. Each story is read by 5 jury members and rated with up to 10 points.
Grammar and spelling skills, common thread, style, idea and personal favour are taken into account.
The three short stories with the highest scores will each receive a prize.
If two short stories by the same author are among the first three places, the story with the second-highest score will not be considered for the ranking and the next place will move up.
In the event of a tie between the first 3 places, the number of points awarded by jury member 1 will be used to determine the ranking. Should be the same, from jury member 2, then 3 and so on.
The scores will only be publicly announced for the first 7 places, because writing should not be about constantly comparing yourself with others or labelling something as “good” or “bad”. We already know that every story submitted is wonderful simply because the author has the courage to publish it <3
